About the Registry

 The Michigan Children's Protection Registry Act prohibits people or organizations from sending messaging to minors  that directly or indirectly advertises the following products:

Below is a list of products or services that are currently illegal under Michigan or United States Federal Law for children to purchase, view, possess, or participate in:

  • Alcohol 
  • Tobacco 
  • Pornography or Obscene Material
  • Gambling
  • Firearms
